뉴질랜드 유학후이민을 준비하시는 회원님들께서 가장 많이 찾으시는 NSIA 요리 과정 및 호텔경영 오리엔테이션 자료 입니다.

3. Items required for Orientation day:

· (NZ domestic students) Copy of NZ passport or NZ permanent residency visa or Birth Certificate
· (International students) Copy of passport and visa
· (International students) Copy of health and travel insurance (If you have paid the Health and

Travel insurance fee to NSIA, please check with NSIA officer to get your insurance policy on
orientation day; if you have life insurance in your home country, please bring your insurance policy
and check with NSIA officer to see if it is appropriate.)

4. Uniform will be issued on orientation day:

· Theory uniform (for both Cookery & Hospitality students):1 waist coat, 1 tie, 1 school badge
· Kitchen uniform (for Cookery students only): 2 Chef Jackets, 1 Pants, 1 White Cap, 1 Scarf, 1Apron, 3 Kitchen towels · A knife set (for Cookery students only)

5. Student ID Card

· You will receive your student ID card within two weeks from 28/01/2014.
· Please put your name clearly on all your belongings.

6. Items you need to prepare for your study at NSIA:

You are required to wear uniform at all times, you may need to buy the items below if you don’t have
them:

1. Black dress pants (no jeans)
2. Black dress shoes (no runners)
3. White long sleeved dress shirt (you may need 2 for changing)
4. Strong kitchen safety shoes with rubber soles (no runners)
5. Small oven gas lighter
6. 1 teaspoon, 1 soupspoon/ knife & fork / chopsticks for tasting

** Note: 4, 5, 6 is for cookery students only.

Suggested shops:
1. Farmers
2. K mart
3. Warehouse
4. Dress for less
5. $2-3 dollar shop
